Frank De Fina Promoted to President of Newly Created Panasonic Digital Communications & Security Company

SECAUCUS, N.J. -– Panasonic Systems Sales Company(PSSC)announced that Frank De Fina has been promoted to president ofthe newly created Panasonic Digital Communications & SecurityCompany (PDCS). PDCS integrates two existing Panasonic unit companies-- Panasonic Telecommunication Systems Company, which markets fixed andmobile telecommunications systems, and Panasonic Security & DigitalImaging Company, which markets video security and medical imagingproducts.

In his new position, De Fina will be responsible for all aspects ofsales and marketing of security, medical, and telecommunication systemsin the U.S. "Our rapidly expanding internet-capable security productsline and integration with world-class mobile and fixed installationtelecommunications systems deliver unique value to the market," said DeFina. "I very much look forward to the challenge of helping PDCSsucceed in this rapidly-growing market."

De Fina has most recently been serving as joint president ofPanasonic Security & Digital Imaging Company and PanasonicBroadcast & Television Systems Company (PBTS), a leading supplierof professional video acquisition and display systems. Yuhas willassume the role of president, PBTS, concurrent with his existingposition, assisted by PBTS Senior Vice President Frank Sameshima andPBTS Vice President of Marketing Stuart English.

De Fina has been with Panasonic for almost 20 years and has heldnumerous management positions.
