The Hurdle Announces its 2002 Screenplay Competition

The Hurdle Ltd. is currently holding its 2002 screenplaycompetition. The competition recognizes outstanding screenplays througha peer review system. There will be prizes awarded for the 1st, 2nd,and 3rd ranking scripts, with cash awards of up to $50,000.

The Hurdle encourages all independent screenwriters to enter "thebest of their scripts" into the competition for consideration. Thescreenwriters of the top 50 scripts will be given the chance to auctiontheir winning screenplays to film executives who express interest inthe scripts.
