Chief Engineer (Grand Junction, CO) TV

KREX-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado is looking for a ChiefEngineer to take a leading role in directing, implementing, andmanaging all facilities and technical needs, including all video, audioand computer based technologies across all platforms. Will recruit,hire, supervise, and train. Responsible for developing the operationalprocedures and ensuring that engineering and production requirementsare met for all productions. The Chief engineer will prepare annualmaintenance and capital budgets, track expenses and prepare quarterlyforecasts. Will be accountable for ensuring adherence to FCC, OSHA andother technical regulations. The ideal candidates will have 4 years ofexperience in television engineering, 4 years supervisory experienceand experience identifying, analyzing and implementing new products andservices. Must have proficiency in project management and mastery withprodcution equipment. Must have excellent organization, timemanagement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
