In this Charlotte, NC based role, you will install, maintainand perform preventative maintenance on all technical equipment tosupport studio show production and postproduction editing, assist withequipment/facility preparations, educate/train operating staff ontechnical equipment, test new equipment, verify equipment installation,and prepare preventative maintenance schedules. In addition, you willtroubleshoot problems, serve as Engineer in Charge as needed, andmaintain the equipment repair database.
To qualify, you must have 10 years experience as an Engineer, EIC orMaintenance Technician at a post production or television broadcastfacility, possess strong computer skills with Windows and MACplatforms, and have a 2 year technical or college degree. Superiororal/written communication skills, and a working knowledge of thesystem equipment inter-connect and equipment operation will beexpected.
