Maintenance Engineer (Job #200SD):

WBNS 10TV has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Engineer whoseresponsibilities will include operation of a mobile satellite uplinktruck and maintenance of television station equipment. This position isresponsible for installation, operation and maintenance of allbroadcast equipment, operation of videotape machines, satellite dishcontrollers and microwave receiving equipment, coordinating andreceiving of live signals from the field and ENG operations duties asassigned. The successful candidate should possess an Associates degreein Electronics or a Bachelor’s Degree, at least four yearsexperience in broadcast maintenance and installation, validdriver’s license with a CDL class B endorsement, and preferably aSociety of Broadcast Engineers certification or General Radiotelephonelicense. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will beconsidered. Requirements for this position also include the ability topositively interact with clients and co-workers, great initiative andorganizational skills, the ability to work unusual hours, includingholidays and weekends, and experience driving and operating largesingle axle trucks with KU satellite uplink and microwaveequipment.
