Da-Lite Screen Company Receives Export Achievement Award

The U.S. Commerce Department presented its Export Achievement Awardto Da-Lite Screen Company, Warsaw, Ind. In a ceremony at the Universityof Notre Dame, secretary of commerce Donald Evans presented the awardto Richard Lundin, chairman and CEO of Da-Lite Screen Company.

Secretary Evans stated that the Export Achievement Award ispresented to companies who have used the services offered by theDepartment of Commerce to excel in exporting activities. Da-lite ScreenCompany is the second company in the state of Indiana to receive thisaward.

In his acceptance, Lundin thanked the Department of Commerce for itscontinued support of Da-Lite's efforts to expand its internationalbusiness into new markets around the world. "The efforts of the U.S.Department of Commerce to keep international markets open, to maintainthe flow of goods between countries, and to protect the interests ofU.S. companies doing business abroad has been essential to Da-Lite'sexport growth and is criticial to the company's future developments,"said Lundin.
