NBC and HDNet Team Up to Broadcast NBA in HDTV

NBC and HDNet will broadcast live, high-definition coverage of "NBAon NBC" when the Dallas Mavericks host the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday,Feb. 3 at 2:30p.m. ET. HDTV viewers can watch the game broadcast onNBC's digital television affiliates and on HDNet’s channel 199 onDIRECTV.

The widescreen format and superior clarity of HDTV will give NBAfans a viewing experience that is close to being there in person. Witha view of the full court, fans can follow every move of their favoriteplayers and watch the developing plays at the same time.

NBC and HDNet are also teaming up to present NBC's high-definitioncoverage of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, Feb. 8-24.
