The Department of Veterans Affairs is looking for a BroadcastTelecommunication Specialist to serve as engineer for all satellitebroadcasts and production activities at the Employee Education ResourceCenter, Washington DC. Position requiresin-depth knowledge of studio production, digital satellite up-link andremote production techniques. Must have current knowledge of fieldadvancements in electronics and automation including the ability totroubleshoot stand alone and/or interconnected production and broadcastequipment. Position requires specialized knowledge of MPEG-2 digitalbroadcasting, Serial Digital Interface CCIR-501 standard equipment,Sony Digital Beta Cam and Avid Media Composers.
