Last fall Anton/Bauer introduced a new battery to its alreadyextensive lineup. Dionic is the first battery to feature whatAnton/Bauer describes as realtime display — it shows both theremaining running time (in hours and minutes) and the power gauge(percentage of power left) simultaneously. That's not the only advance,either: Dionic is the size of the company's HyTron 50, but it's 20%lighter and packs 60% more juice, the company claims. The lithium ionbattery runs a typical 25W camcorder for more than three hours andattaches to a standard Gold Mount.
