Ikegami advances its ENG/EFP lineup with a new SD camcorder,the HL-60W. The successor to the HL-59, the new camera featuresthe debut of the three-chip AIT 520,000-pixel CCD. A single ASIC nowperforms all imaging, making the DSP system (with 38-bit internalprocessing) compact. This contributes to a low camera head weight of5.1lbs; power consumption is low, too, at 10W. Hyper gain of +48dBallows a minimum illumination of just 0.12 lux. The HL-60W is availablewith either three-channel component triax or two-channel triax. ASmartMedia flash memory card can store the camera's operatingconditions to simplify setup.
