Enreach and SeaChange Target Video-On-Demand for Broadband IP

Alviso, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2001)-- SeaChange International, Inc.(NASDAQ: SEAC) and EnReach Technology, Inc. have partnered to integrateSeaChange's digital video server systems with EnReach's middleware forIP infrastructure, with the goal of meeting the worldwide marketopportunity for video-on-demand over broadband IP networks.

The companies will integrate SeaChange's Interactive TelevisionSystem with EnReach's ITV middleware and application software,empowering broadband service providers with DSL, 'fiber to the curb'and wireless infrastructures to deploy revenue-generating services suchas on-demand movies and other programming. SeaChange's InteractiveTelevision System digital video platform leverages an open architecturethat enables operators to use a wide variety of interactiveapplications and hardware from vendors across the industry. EnReachprovides an open middleware model rather than a vertically integratedsolution enabling operators to choose technology platforms that bestfit their business models.
