Electronic Maintenance Technician

Television, Radio and Film Department

Reporting to the Assistant Director for Engineering (Audio andCable), the Electronic Maintenance Technician will be responsible forbench repair of all TRF supported electronic equipment. In addition,will perform service calls to various TRF supported areas. Specificduties will include: 1) Perform installation, bench adjustment, repairand technical support of a broad range of video, audio, photo anddigital equipment; 2) Respond to service and emergency requests for TRFsupported equipment; 3) Assist in inventory control and generalmaintenance of shop-related components, fixtures, and tools includingmaintaining a well-stocked equipment parts inventory, a standing rosterof all shop equipment and tool inventory, spare operational equipment,replacement parts and related supplies with data related to annualconsumption for repairs; and 4) Assist with special projects, asassigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of two years of direct experience in repairing and operatingBroadcast/CCTV television and audio/visual equipment. SBE certificationpreferred. Previous employment in a recording studio or televisionstation environment with related equipment and task assignmentspreferred.
