Description:
Bloomberg TV has a challenging opportunity within the BroadcastEngineering Group. You will be responsible for coordinating, andperforming maintenance of equipment as needed to support live broadcastoperations. We will look to this Engineer to be pro-active, andtroubleshoot production and on-air issues. Will also be responsible forupdating transmitter/shift logs, conducting tests, diagnosticsevaluations and execute checklists to discover equipment and/or systemanomalies. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate and installnew components and systems, as well as create and update engineeringdocuments and diagrams.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have strong knowledge of technical TV andradio broadcasting equipment (including cameras, robotics, VTRs,routing equipment and production switchers). Knowledge of broadcastautomation systems and thorough understanding of PC hardware andsoftware operations. Ideal candidate should posses strongtroubleshooting skills and have the ability to work independently andquickly in high-pressure situations. Must be flexible- May includeevenings, nights and weekends.
