Director of Engineering - KTVI, A FOX affiliate in St.Louis, MO seeks a full time Director of Engineering to manage the dailyoperations of KTVI's Engineering and Operations Department. Thisposition directs activities to insure: all positions are covered; allequipment is maintained in accordance with FCC rules and goodengineering practices. It also reviews technical logs and overseesactivities of remote facilities with special emphasis on ourtransmitter facility. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 yearsexperience in television engineering and must be able to workproductively with our News managers and possess strong and recentelectronics backgrounds - including radio frequency (RF) installations.Also required are excellent follow up and follow through instincts andappreciation for correct and precise performance of all duties inaddition to a FCC General Class or higher license. Candidate must beable to work all hours and shifts. This position reports to our VicePresident of Engineering and Operations.
