VP, Broadcast Engineering

The Vice President, Broadcast Engineering oversees all engineeringaspects of the Andrita Studios facility including Master Control,Transmission, Production, Audio, Post-Production and Asset Duplication,including VOD creation.

Under the direction of the General Manager of the Andrita Studiosand the Executive VP, Playboy Entertainment Group, Inc. (PEGI)Operations, this position will be responsible for the maintenance andoperation of all engineering functions. Core engineering functionsinclude operation and maintenance of Sony HD cameras, Sony HD digitalMVS-8000 switcher, Sony HD VTRs, Digital Betacam VTRs and Beta SP VTRs,Pinnacle servers, Louth automation, Yamaha audio console, Final Cut Proediting systems, Near-line and Achive disk and tape storage devices,C/Ku satellite uplink/downlink satellite transmission equipment and thesoftware systems that control and operate these systems and devices.These engineering responsibilities encompass all of the PEGI networkshoused at the Andrita Studios, as well as any the third-party networksthat utilize the facilities operated by the Andrita Studios.

Oversee engineering staff of 5-9 engineers and the performance ofoutside engineering vendors, including Coram Engineering and SonyMaintenance.

• A minimum of fifteen years experience in Broadcast Production andMaster Control engineering required.

• In addition, qualified candidate must have at least ten yearsexperience supervising a Broadcast Engineering staff; Minimum fiveyears engineering experience supervising a multi-channel 24x7 networkorigination facility; Minimum seven years experience in managingcapital and operating budgets, operational management and projectmanagement including build-out.

• Prior experience with satellite Uplink/Downlink equipmentnecessary.

• Candidate must be highly skilled in Information Systems.

• Associate college degree preferred.

• Candidate should be a highly reliable, detail-oriented individualwho can operate in a supervisory role in a high-pressure "live TV"environment.

• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with both seniormanagement, outside vendors and third-party Andrita networks.

• Candidate must be able to work flexible hours.
