IT MANAGER - VA

A fast growing family of international TV and radio networks usingstate of the art technologies in a digital facility (multi-channel liveTV 24x7 network environment) seeks an exceptional individual to manageits information technology and telecommunication systems for:

• hardware and software installation

• maintenance and security

• local and wide area network administration

• upgrade design of server based digital video and audio systems

• graphics and editing systems

Ability to identify and implement new technologies and ability todiagnose and remedy complex problems quickly is essential. Candidatemust have excellent management skills, a confident demeanor andexcellent rapport when interacting with all levels of staff, outsidevendors and third-party engineering vendors. Understanding userrequirements and work flow in fast-paced TV and radio broadcastingenvironments is critical. Experience in a digital facility and/orArabic speaking is a plus. Candidate must have experiencemaintaining:

• Enterprise applications

• Windows Server-resident applications, Microsoft Suite

• ProvideX, ODBC, VPN, and SQL based systems

• Visual Basic and database administration (ODBC, Access, and SQL)

• HTML and Java applications

• Digital audio and video storage and editing systems
