The School of Media and Public Affairs at The George WashingtonUniversity (GW) is currently seeking an experienced and dedicatedprofessional to provide technical and operational support for our audioand video production and post-production equipment, facilities, andclasses. Responsibilities include: studio alignment/set-up,production/post operation, troubleshooting and routine maintenance ofboth digital and analog equipment. Experience with linear andnon-linear editing, and studio/field lighting is required. This jobinteracts very closely with faculty and students and, therefore,requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The abilityto work with non-technical individuals is a must. A two-year collegedegree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education,training and experience, plus three years of experience in theoperation and basic maintenance of digital/analog equipment/systems isrequired.
