This is a uniqueopportunity for best-of-breed engineers to play an integral role in anenterprise that will transform the Indian television industry.

Vice President, Broadcast Engineering - Delhi based
A highly qualified and experienced professional who will play anintegral role in building and developing a profitable operation thatwill be the uplink and broadcast center for this world-class DTHsatellite service. The candidate will have an engineering degree and aminimum of 10 years experience in broadcast systems engineering,including start-up and leadership roles. This will include but not belimited to:

  • Automation & traffic systems

  • Tape and digital based video and audio facilities

  • Production and post production facilities

  • DVB digital multi-channel systems

  • Systems design, maintenance and operational requirements.

Knowledge of the Indian workplace and culture is essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, installing and managing production and broadcast servicesthat balance efficiency and the creative needs of programming andproduction users

  • Establishing and maintaining technical and engineering standardsthat ensure high quality program distribution

  • Recruitment and leadership of a team of highly motivated employeeswho are provided with ongoing training that targets criticalfunctions

  • Preparing and managing annual operating budgets
