Director of Sales & Marketing

Our world-class, globally recognized European communications companyis currently looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing for one ofits key North American divisions. This division is poised for majorgrowth in 2003. Our new Director of Sales and Marketing will manage allof the strategic activities of this professional sales organization. Heor she will guide market development managers and provide goals forfuture products and markets. Major responsibilities include:

• Creation and administration of aggressive variable-pay compensationprograms.

• Management of standard pricing policies.

• Formulation and negotiation of special pricing policies foralternate distribution and major orders.

• Direction and guidance to the sales organization.

• Advisement to senior management regarding products, logistics andmarket potential.

• Development and implementation of successful advertising andmarketing plans in conjunction with corporate marketing and outsidemarketing consultants.

Requirements:

• BSEE or equivalent with 10+ years experience in sales and marketingto the Television/Broadcast industry.

• A proven track record of building successful salesorganizations.

• The ability to lead, mentor and develop a team of remote salesengineers.

• The ability to travel nationally up to 70% with occasional travel tointernational corporate locations.
