LA DV Show Details Announced

Mindshare Ventures, Inc. and Future Media Concepts in cooperationwith B&H have announced the launch of The LA DV Show at the HiltonBurbank Airport and Convention Center, July 28–August 1, 2002.The event will present the latest in digital videotechnology/techniques and feature celebrity keynotes, networking, andspecial events. The first three days are dedicated to user conferencesfor three important products driving the growth of Digital Video usage.Apple Final Cut Pro International Users Conference, Adobe After EffectsInternational Users Conference and Avid Editors Conference will beco-located during this 5-day festival of activities.

The fourth and fifth day of the conference will feature generalsessions to be presented by industry leaders on a range of vital topicsfor digital video professionals at all levels. Sessions will cover awide spectrum of topics including production techniques, editing powertips, special effects, cameras and decks, hardware peripherals,streaming, DVD authoring, 3D animation and audio editing. Included willbe sessions on products from: Adobe, Apple, Avid, Discreet, Macromedia,Microsoft, Pinnacle, and others.

The conference includes two days of educational sessions,complimented with keynotes, guest speakers, workshops, a pavilion onthe expo floor, and a first ever—The DVD Awards CompetitionFestival.

In response to the many requests by exhibitors for a repeatperformance and to accommodate all the exhibitors who missed us in NewYork, we are moving our “tent” to Los Angeles to producewhat may indeed be industry’s largest assemblage of Digital Videousers to date. ”

A full-scale exhibition will be presented at the Hilton BurbankAirport and Convention Center on Tuesday, July 30, 1:00pm –6:30pm and Wednesday, July 31, 10:00am – 7:00pm. Top industryrepresentatives will be on-hand to exhibit products, distribute freegiveaways and participate in free social and networking events.
