11:11 MediaWorks, New Digital Visual Effects Company, Launches

Van Nuys, CA - Veteran visual effects artist/designer Roger Nallannounced recently the launch of a new digital visual effects company,called 11:11 MediaWorks.

Nall says that 11:11 MediaWorks will offer clients state-of-the-arthardware and software for projects ranging from network television atD1/DV or HDTV delivery, to feature films at 2K or higherresolution.

The new company will specialize in three primary areas: visualeffects design and production,(including on-set supervision, platephotography including blue/greenscreen shoots, and motion control),digital post-production "repairs" (including wire and rig removal,monitor burn-ins, muzzle flashes, screen replacements, filmrestoration, color correction, and scratch removal), and the creationof custom motion graphics and design services,(including graphics forfaux news broadcasts, technical screens, and interactive displays.

Prior to launching 11:11 MediaWorks, Nall served as partner/operatorof SOTA Digital, a unit of SOTA F/X in Van Nuys, which he founded inl998 as an entirely Mac-based visual effects house. SOTA Digitalcontributed effects work to a broad range of projects, includingfeature films, TV shows, and video/computer games. For the past threeyears, Nall worked as visual effects supervisor for various SOTADigital projects. His recent credits as a visual effects artist include"Planet of the Apes," "Swordfish," the upcoming Jet Li film "The One,"and the upcoming Arnold Swarzenegger film, "Collateral Damage."
