Visual Effects Supervisor Guy Hudson Dies
Guy Hudson, who worked on the visual effects for such notableprojects as Alien, The Empire Strikes Back, Jurassic Park andthe Dinotopia TV series, passed away suddenly on December 24,2003 from a brain hemorrhage. He was 45 years old.
Guy first came to Northern California in 1987 to work for ChrisWalas Inc. Since then he has worked for such facilities as DisneyHenson Productions, Industrial Light & Magic, and WesternImages.
Hudson returned to London in 2002 to be closer to his family, andsubsequently joined the Framestore where he was working on Harry Potterand the Prisoner of Azkaban at the time of his death.
Guy’s personality, charm, and great sense of humor wereirresistible forces to all who came in contact with him. Wherever helived, he always had a large group of dear friends and colleagues whoheld a special place for him in their heart.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Josephine and RonWyatt; his sisters, Joanna and Harriet; a nephew and four nieces.
