eyeon Software and Frantic Films Announce Development Venture

LOS ANGELES, SIGGRAPH 2001 - August 14, 2001 Visual effects softwaredeveloper, eyeon Software, and leading effects facility, Frantic Films,have entered into a strategic agreement to provide next-generationapplications of eyeon's award-winning Digital Fusionâ productline.

Utilising in-house programming talent at Frantic Films with thehighly-optimised modular Digital Fusion architecture, anticipateddevelopments will encompass specific leading production solutions. Theopen architecture allows Frantic to create, and research and develop,application requirements far beyond the off-the-shelf software that iscurrently available. These production-driven developments will then beincorporated by eyeon into future product versions.
