Oregon3D Appointed as Authorized Training Center for Discreet

Oregon3D (Portland, Ore.), The Center for Visualization Technologiesannounced that Discreet has appointed Oregon3D as an authorizedtraining center for Discreet 3ds max, combustion 2, flint, flame, andsmoke. The only independent training center in the United States tooffer courses on Discreet flint, flame, and smoke, Oregon3D's premierfacility provides a collaborative learning environment for a variety ofcourses in 3D animation, special effects, compositing, editing, andrealtime image generation.

Typically consisting of four or five days ofintensive, hands-on training, these courses go beyond the theory ofoperation to integrate course work with real-life storyboarding,postproduction, and project management practices.
