Leading Executives From Cable Industry Nominated to PROMAX&BDA Board
Delivering on the promise to bring true return on investment forPROMAX&BDA members, Jim Chabin, chief executive officer ofPROMAX&BDA, has today announced the Cable nominees for the newPROMAX&BDA Board, representing a full spectrum of today's topelectronic media promotion and marketing talent.
"As we redefine promotion and marketing as revenue generators ratherthan expenditures, we're looking to industry leaders to assist us indeveloping the 'profit center' models that our membership is so eagerto embrace," said Chabin in announcing the new PROMAX&BDA Boardnominees. From the cable network sector, nominees include E! Networks' seniorvice president of marketing and brand director Gavin Harvey; executivevice president and general manager of TV Land and Nick At Nite, LarryJones; Lifetime Television's senior vice president and executivecreative director Gary Logue; Brigitte McCray, senior vice president ofprogramming and scheduling for Oxygen Media; and Stephen Arnold,composer and founder of Stephen Arnold Music; and Michael Levine,president of Michael Levine Search Consultants.
International media companies can look to CHUM Television's vicepresident of communication and promotion Mary Powers to ensure theirspecific areas of addressed are addressed, as the well respectedmarketing executive also joins the PROMAX board.
Adding additional support to the Board roster, Crown Media Holdings'Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Brand Strategy,Chris Moseley has been named the Chair of the Long Range PlanningCommittee.
Installations of the new broad members takes place during theorganization's annual PROMAX&BDA Conference, held June 4 to 6 atThe Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, Calif.
