American Advertising Federation Announces Advertising Hall of Achievement Call for Entries

WASHINGTON, DC---The American Advertising Federation (AAF) announcedthat it is seeking nominations of superachievers age 40 and younger whoare significantly influencing advertising practices for its 10thanniversary Advertising Hall of Achievement. These industry-renownedawards honor professionals who are redefining the industry throughtheir leadership, career achievements, and personal qualities. The AAFwill be accepting nominations through June 16, 2003.

Those selected this year will join past honorees including DonnyDeutsch, Deutsch Inc., Andrea Jung, Avon Products, Nora McAniff, TimeInc., and David Verklin, Carat NA. Their expertise spans all spectrumsof the ad industry.

"We are proud to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of theAdvertising Hall of Achievement award. The longevity and deep historyof the award is a testament to the respected place the Hall ofAchievement has carved out for itself in the industry today. In keepingwith our deep tradition of excellence, we are currently seeking youngindustry giants whose innovative mission and revolutionary spirit aretruly reshaping the world of advertising," said Wallace S. Snyder, AAFpresident and CEO.

The Advertising Hall of Achievement is the industry's premier awardfor outstanding young advertising professionals. AAF established theprogram in 1993 as a companion award to the Advertising Hall of Fame,which honors advertising legends who have significantly influenced theindustry over the course of their careers. The Advertising Hall ofAchievement recognizes and encourages young, talented individuals whoconsistently influence today's advertising industry and are well poisedto continue to do so in the years ahead.

This year, Judy Hu, general manager-corporate advertising andmarketing communications, GE, is serving as chair and Jack Griffin,president and publisher, Parade Publications, is serving as vicechair.
