Kodak Launches New Student Website

Los Angeles, October 22 - Kodak has launched a new student website(www.kodak.com/go/student) that will offer news, information,membership benefits, reports from school campuses, technical supportand an open platform for the next generation of filmmakers to sharetheir stories.

"Our mission is to provide an easily accessible forum for studentfilmmakers around the world," says John Mason, manager of the StudentFilmmaker Program for Kodak. "This website will give them news they canuse and opportunities to share ideas."

The site will include news and in-depth stories, including exclusiveinterviews with deans and faculty from Chapman University, UCLA andUSC, with more to come. In Camera On Campus, Kodak's studentnewsletter, The Student Handbook, Exploring the Color Image and otherKodak publications will be available for downloading. Feature articleswill focus on leading-edge filmmakers.

In November and December, Kodak will give away one 400-foot roll ofKodak Vision 200T film in a random drawing of members. Membershipentitles students to previews and advance notice about upcomingevents.

"Our goal is to serve the creative, educational and technical needsof student filmmakers around the world by establishing an Internetcommunity," says Mason.
