Urban-American Filmmakers Workshop

The Urban-American Filmmakers Workshop (UAFW) is a two-day intensiveworkshop designed for the independent filmmaker and actor of color. Theworkshop tours seven major metropolitan cities and is expected to reachapproximately 5,000 young, urban filmmakers from all over the country.The first workshop was held in Atlanta, Georgia in September 2002. Thetour makes stops in Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York, Cleveland,Houston and concludes in Los Angeles in May 2003. Kick-off NetworkingReception is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21, 2003 in Washington D.C.
