Inwood is the cinematographer for NBC's hit television seriesScrubs. Though situation comedies are traditionally filmed orvideotaped with multiple cameras, Scrubs is considered a "single cameracomedy." Inwood utilizes a single, mobile Super 16 film camera ininnovative ways to create a visually compelling look that blends comedyand drama.
Inwood started his career as an electrician in New York, attendedgraduate film school at New York University, and started shootingtelevision at Nickelodeon. Inwood's credits include the televisionshows The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Bus No. 9, Cry BabyLane and The Johnny Chronicles. His feature credits includeSix Ways to Sunday, Going Nomad, The Daytrippers andFace.
