New York Women in Film and Television and the Art Directors Club to Co-host Design Panel
Remember those James Bond title sequences from the '60s? All thatdanger, sex, and sophistication rolled up into a dazzling montage ofcolor, type and motion was, for some, the best part of the 007 series. What makes a title sequence memorable? Who produces them and how? Andwhat exactly do you need to know when buying a title for your film?Title design is one of the most exciting segments of the graphic designindustry and the New York Women In Film and Television (NYWIFT), inassociation with the Art Directors Club, will be hosting a discussionwith some of the top title designers and producers working today.
The panelists, who include Randall Balsmeyer of Big Film Design, AdaWhitney of Beehive, Jakob Trollbäck and Nathalie De La Gorce ofTrollbäck & Company and moderator Joanne Tolkoff, will screenexamples of their work and share their behind-the-scenes perspectiveson creating titles.
