CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- da Vinci Systems announced that its parentcompany, Acterna Corporation, has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcyprotection, just five months after its initial filing.

During Acterna's reorganization, da Vinci continued its commitmentto remaining a leader in film and video technologies. The companyrecently launched several new products, including the Resolve family ofsoftware-based color enhancement systems with configurations for visualeffects work and digital intermediate production, plus its firstreal-time 2K processing system. Recently, da Vinci also introduced itsbrand-new Nucleas digital intermediate product suite, which includesingest, server interface, conform, and format modules to facilitate anend-to-end, integrated digital intermediate workflow.
