DNF Controls' Products to Support Grass Valley M-Series iVDR

LAS VEGAS -- DNF Controls, a global provider of field-proven controlsolutions for the broadcast and production industries, announced thatit will develop products and modify some existing products to supportthe Grass Valley M-Series iVDR intelligent video digital recorder fromThomson Broadcast & Media Solutions.

DNF's support for the M-Series iVDR, a VTR replacement, is thelatest in its long-term support for Grass Valley brand products. DNFhas provided a wide range of products to support the needs of GrassValley Profile users--from instant clip access to playlist playout tosports controllers.

The M-Series iVDR is designed to complement the Emmy award-winningProfile line of digital video platforms. Currently, DNF Controls'products support thousands of Profile channels in broadcast studios andnewsrooms, mobile production trucks, and fixed-venue facilities acrossthe globe. In these same environments, DNF Controls' DMAT-O sportscontroller and the M-Series iVDR will work together to allow operatorsto record live action for playback or store hundreds of backgroundvideo clips for instant recall during a live broadcast.
