Adobe Acquires Leading Audio Application and Technology from Syntrillium Software
SAN JOSE, Calif. - (NASDAQ: ADBE) - Adobe Systems Incorporatedannounced an agreement to acquire the technology assets of SyntrilliumSoftware, a leader in digital audio tools. Syntrillium's flagshipproduct, Cool Edit Pro, will join the company's existing line ofprofessional digital video products that include Adobe Premiere, AdobeAfter Effects, Adobe Encore DVD and Adobe Photoshop. Terms of theagreement were not disclosed. Adobe expects that the acquisition willnot have a material impact to earnings per share in Q203 or FY03.
