New York International Independent Film and Video Festival

The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival(NYIIFVF) returns to Manhattan in full force, showcasing over 300impressive features, shorts, animations and documentaries. Founded in1993 by Stuart Alson, NYIIFVF has been recognized by the film andentertainment industry as one of the leading film events on theindependent festival circuit. Past Festivals have included the work ofAbel Ferrara, Andy Garcia, Calista Flockhart, Cameron Diaz, ChristopherWalken, Daryl Hannah, Eva Herzigova, Guy Pearce, George Clooney,Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Modine, Rod Steiger, Tippi Hedren, TonyDanza, and Willem Dafoe. Each year the NYIIFVF attracts many globalentries. This year's entries include: Australia, Brazil, Canada,France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Tunisia, and the U.K. The scope of thefestival ranges from high profile to novice, so visitors can expect toexperience an array of films, all driven by the spirit of independentmovie making.

NYIIFVF is hosting film events in the three entertainment capitalsof America: New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
