IFP/New York Accepting Applications for 4th Session Project Involve: New York

Project Involve: New York is a five-month program designed to foster one-on-one mentorship opportunities for filmmakers from cultural, ethnic and racial minorities. IFP consistently works toward creating a community of filmmakers that reflects the whole of American culture. The initiative consists of a Fellowship program for mid-career filmmakers and a monthly Workshop for a select group of emerging narrative and documentary filmmakers. A total of four individuals receive a $10,000 stipend as part of the program annually, in addition to receiving a one-on-one mentorship opportunity with a group of working professionals. A total of 40 emerging filmmakers participate in monthly Narrative or Documentary Workshops with group leaders who seek to provide greater insight into the development, financing, production and distribution of projects.
