Entertainment Technology Alliance Announces Lineup for Expo 2002

Entertainment Technology Alliance, an industry organization focusedon educating and bringing together the entertainment community with thelatest technology, announced the super session topics for the firstannual ETA Expo. ETA Expo, to be held February 22-23, 2002 at thePasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, Calif., is a conference andexposition designed to discuss and debate current issues surroundingthe convergence of technology and the entertainment industry

ETA Expo will feature three "super sessions" intended to educate theaudiences on current issues and developments within the entertainmenttechnology industry:

* Digital Film Tree Case Study, covering the historical and currenttrajectory of technologies including Final Cut Pro, FilmLogic, DVCAMand related systems for the motion picture industry;

* Sundance Online Film Festival Case Study, detailing how the mostwidely acclaimed film festival successfully built and executed adigital online component; and

* PDA Wars: Palm vs. Pocket PC, led by industry experts, a productreview and discussion on which devices have the best applications forthe entertainment industry and who's buying them.

ETA Expo will feature industry executives from top companies withinthe film, television, digital media content and infrastructure,consumer electronics and computer software/hardware industries.

ETA Expo is designed to enable industry professionals to increasetheir technical knowledge, share creative experiences with colleagues,learn tips from well-known industry professionals and provide highlytargeted networking opportunities.
