Exluna and Digimation to market and distribute the Entropy rendering system

Exluna announced that Digimation, Inc. will distribute Entropy 3.1,which includes an integrated interface for Discreet’s 3ds maxsoftware. Digimation is a supplier of extension products forDiscreet’s 3ds max.

Entropy 3.1 has a unique hybrid scanline/raytracing architecture andextensive feature list. The feature set includes analyticanti-aliasing, global illumination, sub-pixel displacement, depth offield, caustics, motion blur, comprehensive geometry support, and thepower and flexibility of programmable shading with full support for theRenderMan shading language. A multithreaded architecture and efficientmemory use allow Entropy to render highly complex scenes.
