Deluxe Adds Vision Entertainment to its Digital Media Asset Management Initiative
Deluxe, a world leader in the technology and services behind filmedand home entertainment media, has acquired Vision Entertainment, ahigh-quality provider of specialty fulfillment services for theentertainment industry, including digital & physical distribution,assembly, convention services and warehousing. This acquisitionprovides Deluxe with a key piece of its digital media asset managementinitiative.
With facilities in Santa Monica and Glendale, Vision Entertainmentincreases Deluxe’s capabilities in the meta-data area to manageother important assets, including scripts, music cue sheets, performerslides and bios, as data. Deluxe is one of the first service companiesto manage all aspects of entertainment content as data.
