MTV Honors Director Wayne Isham's Work ... Again

Los Angeles, CA.- Wayne Isham of LA production company, A BandApart, recently voted MTV’s “All Time Video Director”during the network's 20th Anniversary Birthday Celebration, came up bigagain on September 5, when his N’Synch video, “Pop”captured four wins at the MTV music video awards at the MetropolitanOpera House in New York.

“Pop” won awards for Best Group Video, Best Dance Video,Best Pop Video, and the Viewer’s Choice Award. In total, thevideo received six mominations for its visual style and choreography.The piece includes extensive visual effects created by Radium, SanFrancisco, including a sequence in which group members’ clothesswitch around while they sing.

Isham’s part in the award is significant because he hasrapidly become the most honored music video director in history, withseveral MTV awards to his credit, including the Back Street Boys’“I Want it That Way” and Ricky Martin’s“Livin’ La Vida Loca,” among others. Isham has alsobeen nominated for three upcoming 2001 Billboard Music VideoAwards.
