Oregon3D, The Academy for Digital Arts & Sciences, todayrevealed its upcoming Combustion 3 Boot Camp. The unique two-and-a-halfweek Oregon3D Combustion 3 Boot Camp will take place May 12 through May28, 2004, at Oregon3D and feature a series of three comprehensivecourses devoted to Discreet's Combustion 3, an award-winning motiongraphics, vector paint, visual effects and 3D compositing desktopsoftware. Taught by Gary M. Davis, certified Discreet TrainingSpecialist and author of The Easy Guide to Discreet combustion3, the courses that make up this camp will cover everything fromfundamentals of the combustion interface to advanced compositing,keying, stabilizing and tracking, as well as the powerful 2D/3Dpipeline secrets of Oregon3D's "MaxBustion."

Combustion 3 Advanced (May 17-21)
This intense five-day session will brief participants on the innersecrets of the Academy Award(r) winning Discreet Color Corrector andKeyer as well as the integrated paint and particle system. Whenpartakers leave this course, they will be ready for the most intensechallenges that their clients will demand of them in the day-to-daybattleground of production graphics and visual effects.

Oregon3D's "MaxBustion" (May 24-28)
This five-day course is the ultimate integration between Discreet's 3dsMax 6 and combustion 3. Drill Sergeant Davis will push attendees to thebreaking point and expose participants to the synergistic power ofDiscreet's premier desktop animation tools. Participants will hone andperfect their pipeline; thus becoming an ultimate 2D/3D-animatingmachine. Why do everything in 3D when combustion can be used to augmentprojects? Why hand animate in combustion when 3ds max can be used as amotion capture device? By mastering the "Maxbustion" pipeline,partakers will become an unstoppable, animation super power.
