Aurora Video Systems Announces Release of RT Extreme Driver for Final Cut Pro 4

Aurora Video Systems today announced the release of a new softwaredriver that allows their IgniterX family of video capture and editingsolutions to support Final Cut Pro 4's RT Extreme engine, whichproduces render-free playback of effects in realtime, as well as avirtually unlimited number of video streams.

"The combinationof our driver with FCP 4 offers editors a new degree of flexibility andthe ability to take advantage of the feature set of FCP 4, includingsupport for up to seven realtime tracks, LiveType, perfectsynchronization and true implementations of 24 fps film support, andediting of the offline RT, DV, uncompressed 8-bit and uncompressed10-bit formats."
