Final Draft Version 7 Available

Final Draft Version 7 is now available. Fully compatible with Windows and Macintosh platforms, Final Draft Version 7 introduces the Panels System, a suite of new organization and development tools for the writer. Central to the Panels System, the new Summary Card feature can be used to develop story-lines, check dialogue consistency, note development ideas, track sequence markers, and keep notes on any aspect of writing and production. Another facet of the Panels System is Navigator. This tool allows the writer to review scene headings and quickly navigate to a specific scene.



With the introduction of the Panels System, writers now have the capability to tailor the screen display and more effectively manage workflow.



Also new to Final Draft Version 7 is Tagger. This application enables users to “tag” script elements and export the results into scheduling and breakdown software. Previously producers, directors and production managers manually reviewed paper scripts with highlighters. With Final Draft Version 7, Tagger quickly accomplishes this task electronically.
