If you needed a small, lightweight prompter system for a widescreen HDV camcorder, your choices before now have been pretty slim. Bodelin adds a model for just that setup: Its new ProPrompter HD offers a wide hood to accommodate an HD/HDV camcorder's 16:9 aspect ratio. Like all of the company's prompters, the rig works on any internal-focus camera lens with a diameter of 100mm down to 52mm. At 2.5lbs., it won't weigh you down either. The bundled software works for both Windows and Mac users; a version that uses a PocketPC rather than an LCD screen is also available.
