Testing for color value and luminosity—useful if you're doing anything more than a run-and-gun style shoot—usually requires expensive gear that can be a hassle to haul around.

Not so with SeaChanger's colorBug. The handheld device, about the size of a cell phone, allows you to test for color and luminosity on location with a reasonable tab.

Another interesting touch is that you can download the colorBug software directly to an Apple iPhone or iPod touch via the iTunes site; the results are wirelessly transmitted from the device itself to your iPhone or iPod that's within Wi-Fi range.
