Competing against the likes of Focus Enhancements, Shining Technology offers up hard disk recording solutions for the Panasonic AG-HVX200 that hold up to two hours of DVCPRO HD material. CitiDisk HD comes in 120GB and 100GB capacities and weighs only 10oz. The drives connect via the same FireWire port to both the HVX200 and your NLE system. Instead of using MXF, CitiDisk HD uses a QuickTime or AVI wrapper for what the company claims is a more direct workflow for most users. There's also an optional accessory kit ($160) that includes a lithium polymer battery, a belt pouch, and a shoe.
