Sonnet Technologies has introduced the Tempo SATA Express 34 host adapter for Mac and Windows laptops. The PCIe adapter is a Serial ATA controller with two external SATA II ports that provide 3Gbps throughput. Supporting up to 10 disk drives when using port-multiplier drive enclosures, the Tempo SATA Express 34 can achieve write speeds up to 100MBps (not Mbps) and read up to 110MBps.
