Vizrt built a broadcast graphics market around the seamless melding of live presenters within a realistic but virtual 3D computer-generated environment. Its new-for-NAB product Viz|Video Wall ER (Extreme Resolution) moves presentations from small video screens to a large-scale video wall. The product works with any of Vizrt's graphic software apps, automatically moving scenes from the app to a cluster of Viz|Engine renderers, which paint the video wall in realtime. Large video walls can now function as studio backdrops. Because adding more renderers can scale the results to 4K and beyond, camera operators won't have to worry about the picture going fuzzy if they zoom in for a close-up.
