The BrightSign HD2000 solid-state media player adds high-definition video and playlist support to the BrightSign line of media players. Unlike DVD players or PCs, BrightSign is designed specifically to control digital signage for such venues as company lobbies, museum exhibits, and informational kiosks. Connectivity options include HDMI and component video outputs, three stereo analog audio outs, and SPDIF audio out. The player also features an IR remote control, an Ethernet port, two serial ports, two USB ports (for touchscreens, keyboards, mice, trackballs, and speakers), and a GPIO port for button or switch inputs.
