If you need a simple digital-signage setup of just one display screen, there haven't been many options available. Triveni Digital addresses that need with its new Ensignia Digital Signage Lobby, a standalone, self-contained system for digital-signage deployments. The setup uses a 42in. LG Electronics M4210N flatpanel HDTV LCD display (no surprise there; Triveni is a division of LG), and the company's MediaManager software for control over LAN/WLAN. This is a real turnkey setup: The user only needs to install the screen, plug in the power cable, and connect an existing PC to the system to run the MediaManager app.
