The Locust Valley, N.Y.-based company introduced its HD-3000, a 3Gbps fiber-optic transport product, at NAB 2008. Featuring a 3Gbps video optical module developed by Gennum, the transmitter/receiver combo is said to be the only solution available that does not require any external audio or video processing. Because the units use Gennum's single-chip design, prices are kept down.
